If you do not agree to these Terms, do not access or use the Service.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User") and Babel Project ("we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accept these Terms in full.
Babel Project is an AI-powered multilingual audio and video dubbing SaaS platform. The Service allows users to:
• Upload video or audio files for AI-powered dubbing into multiple languages.
• Review and edit transcriptions and dubbed audio.
• Publish dubbed content directly to YouTube via the YouTube Data API v3.
• Access AI-generated SEO metadata (titles, descriptions, tags, hashtags).
• Generate and edit AI-powered video thumbnails.
• Consult YouTube trending data to identify dubbing opportunities.
The Service is continuously evolving. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature at any time.
To use the Service, you must:
• Be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction).
• Have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts.
• Not be prohibited from using the Service under applicable laws.
By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet all eligibility requirements.
You must create an account to access most features of the Service. Account authentication is handled by Clerk (https://clerk.com). You may register using an email address or via a supported OAuth provider (Google, GitHub).
You are responsible for:
• Providing accurate and complete registration information.
• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• All activities that occur under your account.
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that provide inaccurate information or violate these Terms.
Babel Project offers the following subscription plans:
• Starter (Free): Limited to 3 target languages per project. Babel Project watermark applied.
• Creator: Expanded quota, no watermark, access to full publishing workflow.
• Pro: Maximum quota, priority processing, all features unlocked.
Paid subscriptions are billed through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly or annual basis. All prices are exclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods except where required by applicable law.
Each plan includes a defined quota of dubbing operations. Unused quota does not carry over to the next billing period. Exceeding your plan quota will require an upgrade to continue processing.
You agree not to use the Service to:
• Upload, process, or publish content that is illegal, defamatory, hateful, violent, pornographic, or infringes third-party rights.
• Circumvent, disable, or interfere with security features of the Service.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service.
• Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers against the Service beyond the permitted API usage.
• Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Service without authorization.
• Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation.
• Violate the YouTube Terms of Service (https://www.youtube.com/t/terms) when publishing content via Babel Project.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for any violation of this policy without prior notice.
All intellectual property rights in the Service (including but not limited to software, AI models, user interface, design, trademarks, and documentation) are owned by or licensed to Babel Project.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service solely for your personal or internal business purposes, subject to these Terms.
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works of the Service or any part of it without our prior written consent.
You retain all ownership rights over the content you upload to the Service ("User Content"). By uploading User Content, you grant Babel Project a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to process, store, and transmit that content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.
You represent and warrant that:
• You own or have the necessary rights to upload and process your User Content.
• Your User Content does not violate any applicable laws or third-party rights.
• Your User Content does not contain malware, viruses, or harmful code.
We reserve the right to remove any User Content that violates these Terms or applicable laws.
The Service integrates with third-party services including but not limited to ElevenLabs (AI dubbing), Gladia (transcription), Stripe (payments), Clerk (authentication), Supabase (data storage), and Google/YouTube APIs. Your use of these third-party services is subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies.
We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or content of third-party services.
Babel Project uses the YouTube Data API v3 to enable users to publish dubbed videos to their YouTube channels and to display trending video data. By connecting your YouTube channel to Babel Project, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service:

https://policies.google.com/privacyBabel Project only requests the minimum YouTube API scopes necessary to provide the Service (youtube.upload, youtube.readonly). We do not store your YouTube credentials beyond what is necessary. You may revoke Babel Project's access to your YouTube account at any time via your Google Account settings at:

https://www.babelproject.fr/privacy_policyBy using the Service, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in our Privacy Policy.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, BABEL PROJECT SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Babel Project, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause or notice, including for violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.
You may delete your account at any time from your account settings. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) shall survive.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of France, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Paris, France.
If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, you may also benefit from any mandatory consumer protection provisions in force in your country of residence.
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, by sending you an email notification.
Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
